Leading brand promotions company Brandsmith along with Steel Authority India Limited, A 2 Z Group & Ashoka Hotel presented "In the Shadows of Walls" a photo exhibition by well known photojournalist Renuka Puri in the capital city today.

Held at the Hotel Ashok, these series of photographs depicted life inside Delhi’s Tihar Jail with extraordinary frames of life crying out for attention.

Most of the frames that Renuka captured presented the jail’s stark and grim tales in a remarkable maner. Renuka’s series on Tihar was an insightful peek into the other side of life inside the prison and her photos chronicled the stories surrounded by the walls.

The highlight of this niche event was children of the inmates who came down specially from Tihar Jail to have a look at the photographs. Prominent attendees were CM Delhi Sheila Dixit, Cabinet Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Brandsmith CEO Rahul Mittra, A2Z Group CEO Sunil Gupta, Deputy Chief of Mission Peru Carlos Yrigoyen, Indo-French Chambers of Commerce Regional Director Piya Bajwa, Mother Dairy Group HR Head Saugata Mitra, amongst a host of senior dignitaries & corporate honchos.

"Renuka discussed this first with me early this year and am glad that we have been able to put this together quickly. The response has been fantastic & we plan to take this exhibition to other metros shortly, " said Rahul Mittra CEO Brandsmith, while addressing the media.
