Brandsmith hosted the 4
th India International Women Film
Festival in the capital city today. This unique seven day festival
would exhibit around 140 films from 44 countries over the coming
week.
Apart from many international films, the highlight of this years
festival was the selection of talented director Madhur Bhandarkars
Fashion which was screened as part of the Male Voice
section of the festival, amidst a roaring applause from cine-goers,
film students and media.


A special retrospective on seven women directors from India would
include 42- Manju Dey, Megh O Raudra - Arundhuti Devi,
Closed Window - Prema Karanth, Pasteonjee - Vijaya Mehta, Saalam
Bombay - Mira Nair, Yuganta - Aparna Sen and Daman - Kalpan Lajmi,
apart from many international feature and short films.
The festival was kick started by Turkish film Istanbul My Love By
Seckin Yang at the Little Theatre Group Auditorium, followed by
dinner at the Asiad Tower Complex in Khel Gaon. Prominent attendees
