Mumbai played host to IOD's 19th World Congress on Leadership in the Economy of Surprise at ITC Maratha recently.

Presented by Governor Maharashtra SC Zamir & former PM Sweden Ola Ullsten, Filmmaker Yash Chopra & Chairman GTL Ltd received the IOD distinguished Fellowship while Bianca Jagger won the Award for Human Rights.

The three day conference saw luminaries from corporate world, films, politics, media and the government.

This year's awardees included LG Electronics, Reliance Infrastructure, Indian Army, Bharti telesoft, Idea cellular, Steel Authority of India Ltd, ONGC, ITC Maurya, Hindustan Unilever Limited amongst others.
